NEW DASHBOARD – OLD DASHBOARD - OLD NEWS

Overview

Design Process

Redesigning an ecosystem of tools used daily by employment partners.

Over the years, the platform had gradually become cluttered, making it difficult for users to quickly access the tools and information they relied on.

Rather than replacing every existing application, the project unified access to multiple internal and external services through a single, consistent experience. Some modules were fully redesigned as part of the project, while others remained independent applications accessible through the dashboard.

Working closely with the Product Manager, we restructured the platform, grouped related functionalities, removed unnecessary shortcuts, and introduced a clearer visual hierarchy. The homepage was redesigned into a modular dashboard, serving as the single entry point to the platform's core services.

I led the UX/UI redesign of the platform, from information architecture and wireframes to the final interface. My responsibilities included redesigning the dashboard, defining a modular navigation system, designing custom icons, and creating a back-office content management system that enabled administrators to publish and manage news independently.

MODULE - NEWS

Challenge

One of the main challenges was determining which services to prioritise based on users' daily workflows while maintaining access to less-used resources.

The platform had evolved over many years without a clear information architecture. Frequently used services were mixed with secondary content, navigation had become fragmented, and several modules had become outdated, resulting in inconsistent interfaces and complex workflows.

The challenge went far beyond redesigning the homepage. It involved modernising the platform, redesigning key legacy modules, simplifying content management for internal teams, and creating a more coherent experience across the entire ecosystem.

MODULE – STATISTIQUES

The statistics module was one of the most outdated parts of the platform, relying on a dense collection of text links and legacy navigation patterns.
The redesign introduced a clearer structure, improved information hierarchy, and made yearly reports easier to browse and export while preserving access to historical data.

BACK OFFICE – AGENT

Designed a back-office content management interface enabling administrators to search, create, schedule and manage news articles independently. The interface supports publication scheduling, article status, multilingual content and editorial workflows, allowing content to be updated faster while reducing reliance on developers.

Outcome

Rather than redesigning a single interface, the project established a new foundation for the platform. A central dashboard brought together access to all internal and external applications, replacing a fragmented experience with a single, coherent entry point. Legacy modules were modernised and aligned under a consistent design language, while dedicated back-office tools gave administrators the autonomy to create and distribute news across the platform without relying on developers. The result was a more intuitive, cohesive and scalable ecosystem for both external partners and internal teams.
